Elite International Competition

The Pharaohs Cup is a prestigious international gymnastics tournament hosted by the Egypt Gymnastics Federation, welcoming athletes from Youth and Junior to Senior levels across multiple divisions.

Held at the world-class Dr. Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall in Giza, situated close to the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum.

This is the first time Gymnastics New Zealand is sending a Youth team to this event. Athletes from as many as 33 countries will compete.

"We, Aline, Sophia and Quinn have been selected to represent New Zealand in the upcoming Pharaoh's Cup in Egypt in September. This is the first time Gymnastics New Zealand is sending off a Youth team and we couldn't be more honoured to partake in this prestigious event which will gather athletes from as many as 33 different countries around the world."

The Challenge

Representing New Zealand is an amazing opportunity — but it is entirely self-funded. Each athlete and their family must cover all costs.
